TIPA's impact across borders and new territories

The launch of our Lar-LA LI-LA holiday workshops programmes in April set the stone for our social entrepreneurship journey and served as a way to reach out to unexplored audiences. The workshops have been designed as a participatory arts and cultural education one developed using storytelling, visual arts, music and collective creation as tools for expression and social connection. Through workshops carried out with children and local communities, the project encourages creativity, critical thinking, self-confidence and emotional expression, while creating spaces where participants can reflect on their identities, environment and shared experiences. Over the years, TIPA has contributed to strengthening links between schools, artists and communities, and this project was launched in partnership with established local artists, to make sure that the experience would be enriching and effectively using arts as a medium to promote citizenship values.

In March, TIPA was invited in Belgium by the Institut d’Administration Scolaire (INAS) of the University of Mons and the PECA Steering Service of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles to present its work in the context of the screening of the documentary film "Enn TIPA" during the educational film festival “Soif d’Idéal”. The aim was to highlight TIPA’s human-centred and participatory approach, generating interest from Belgian audiences. TIPA’s exchanges with Belgium opened valuable opportunities for dialogue and collaboration around arts and cultural education. The visit enabled rich encounters with researchers, educators, artists and cultural operators. Discussions focused on participatory pedagogies, cultural mediation, evaluation tools and collaborative governance models.
