Lisakhanya joined training4changeS back in 2018. His beaming smile radiates joy, his fun-loving nature brightens many days. He is respectful, disciplined, and empathetic; a real asset to our Futsal Academy. After an injury forced him to give up his playing career last year he was still eager to remain part of the group so we started to look for opportunities that would allow him to develop new skills around the game and be empowered as a young leader. Most days he now helps the coaches in a team manager role, but he has also discovered a passion for photography. This year Ramos has spent more time behind the camera, so we’re excited to share some of his photos with you that give a glimpse of a day in the life to training4changeS. Look through his lense to see how our young leaders are growing and maturing, and being positively impacted through the fun safe spaces we share together.
Just a friendly reminder that we will be wrapping up “Empower 30 Young South African Leaders” on the GlobalGiving platform, but we invite you to continue supporting our young changemakers through “10 Years of Equipping Changemakers in Stellenbosch” by heading over to this link: https://goto.gg/58758 We also invite you to take up the challenge of inviting 10 of your friends to contribute towards a new decade of change by sharing the link with them.
