Empower Bamenda Youths with Productive Skills

Dear Supporters,

It is honoring to when embark on an a session of accountability through reporting. This program or project focus on building the capacity of young persons with employability skills and entreprenurial skills for community impactation especially in moment of wars and continuous crisis in Cameroon specifically Northwest and Southwest regions.

As a quick reminder, this program also aims at getting youths busy so as to get them off the streets and eventually reduce the high crime wave.

On the February 14, we hosted the fith (5) cohort. This  cohort just like the last 4 cohorts went through a rigorous and robost training of six (6) months. The training was done in two phases; Phase 1 which was focus on workshop sessions with expert facilitators for the first three months while phase two went for another three months which was incoperating in to the working space, culture of RADA where they were engaging with their respective departments under the strict and direct supervision of the respective heads of departments. on the 16th of August 2024, we graduated six (6) participants who stood their grounds adding up the past 60 graduands of program making a total of 66 alumnis of the program.

We look forward launching the call and starting of cohort six (6) that will run next year 2025.

The program still suffers issues of laptops for participants and trainers, transport support to facilitators and participants, internet cost, and other items that can ease training.
