This project will provide 25000 seedlings to 250 villagers in Uganda to plant more trees which will help in reducing greenhouse gases, regulating waterbody ecosystem, protecting shorelines from storm surges and erosion, saving biodiversity loss and enhancing livelihood of the vulnerable coastal communities
Climate change crisis has become a global phenomenal where as, addressing critical challenges like diversity loss, energy transition nexus, marine polution,deforestation,poor governance of natural resource managment,the impacts of climate change on waterbody ecosystem, livelihood of the vulnerable (coastal communities) remains unresolved and therefore has become a big threat to multi-sectors, like bussiness,healthcare,education sector and even human Rights of the vulnerable communities.
Facilitating transparent and meaningful dialogues that bring together affected communities, journalists, decision-makers, and academia to advance climate and environmental action. Organizing community forums to foster public debate on key environmental issues, where we shall-support reporting as one of the knowledge or data sources to provoke discussions and inspire solutions. Provide free seedlings from our nursery beds to the community to be able to plant more trees as a mitigation measure.
The local community is fully engaged in activities and decisions that aid in policymaking regarding the management of natural resources, the ecological and societal impacts of policy decisions. The undesirable climate change-related impacts on livelihood and human rights of the vulnerable community is greatly minimized. A team of campaigners on climate and environmental issues formulated for a continued advocacy, to provoke discussions and inspire solutions to the impacts of climate change.
