This year, we had the pleasure of catching up with CoolKid Tanvi on a site visit to our program with GetBak in India.
Tanvi has been a CoolKid since she was just two years old! Now 15, Tanvi radiates joy wherever she goes. She's a natural in front of the camera and always dressed to impress, often wearing clothing designed and tailored by her father.
With consistently excellent grades in the 90th percentile, Tanvi dreams of becoming a doctor. While only 10% of children living with disabilities in emerging countries attend school, 70% of our CoolKids are in school or have already graduated. That's the difference that access to continuous high-quality mobility care makes.
Because of you, Tanvi has received the free prosthetic care she's needed to keep moving for over a decade, and will continue to do so through the age of 21.
