Meet CoolKid Hirwaba! Eight year old Hirwaba received her prosthetic limb at our program with GetBak in India earlier this year.
When you give a child mobility, you improve their self-esteem, provide access to education, future employment, and the tools to live self-sufficiently.
But did you know that access to mobility changes not only the lives of our CoolKids, but their families too?
Besides for the peace of mind they have that their child's treatment will be taken care of, many of our CoolKids' parents return to work, or begin work for the first time, after their child receives treatment. This improves the economic well-being of the entire family.
Help us to continue empowering children living with limb disabilites in the state of Guharat in Western India. Mobility is more than movement, it's a human right.
