Our commitment to providing employment opportunities for 500 youth in Kilifi County has enabled the Safal MRM Foundation to empower families and communities around us. Through the various programs offered at the Mabati Technical Training Institute, our aim is to enable as many youth as possible to achieve their full potential and achieve economic empowerment.

With a population of 1200 trainees, the Mabati Technical Training Institute continues to be a trusted partner for technical and vocational training in Kilifi and beyond. With new courses and demand for higher level training, we have registered with the national examination authority (KNEC) to offer an opportunity to trainees who wish to accelerate their skills and upgrade their certifications.

Through the boda boda youth empowerment program, we reaffirm our commitment to equipping the youth, especially those in the motorcycle transport sector, with the necessary skills to improve their businesses and explore additional avenues to increase their streams of income. The youth population in Kilifi County is at an all-time high and the boda boda sector employs a large percentage of the young men. Through this program, we aim to improve households and communities through economic empowerment and imparting best practices in business.

Thanks to your support through GlobalGiving, our work makes an impactful difference in hundreds of households and the idea of financial independence is no longer a far-fetched idea, but a possibility made into reality by donors like you.
