Although we haven´t received many donations, we have managed to incorporate one young supervisor in a Coop in Huitiupan, Chiapas. Ainer is responsible of supervising the activities of 21 beekeepers. Because of Ainer´s hard work as supervisor, 17 of the 21 beekeepers obtained the phase 1 certificate of organic production. This means, that if they keep up with the good work, in two years they will be able to sell their honey in the organic market, which represents a 20% increase in income.
We are currently training three more supervisors in Ocosingo and Chenalho who we hope will be as successful as Ainer.
