Project Update - January 2013

January 2013 has been a low hiring month in terms of PWDs being hired. 1 PWD was placed in employment that started working for Skills Development Project (NOWPDP). 18 are still in the pipeline and they will start their work in the mid of February 2013. In addition, more people employment is planned in the future.

What was achieved this month?

1 candidate was selected in total in the month of January’ 2013 and 18 are in the pipeline.

What are we proud of?

Evaluation of 04 people with hearing impairment was held.

What companies did we meet?

NOWPDP staff met OBS Pharma in January out of which new horizons of employment were discussed.

Monthly Goals:

Number of companies met: 1 (planned: 4)
Number of applicant CVs sent to employers: 15 (planned: 30)
Number of applicants commencing employment: 01 (planned: 20)
Number of applicants selected but not commenced: 18 (in the pipeline)
