We would like to introduce two of the street dogs in Costa Rica whose lives you recently saved with donations for emergency veterinary care.
Vincent, a six month old puppy, was bitten by a poisonous snake and had just hours to live when he was taken to Dogland and surrendered by the poor Nicaraguan family who had been feeding him scraps. Anti-venon costs $80 for a series of four shots, which we were able to provide, and Vincent made a full recovery. But that’s not the end of the story. A family in Germany is adopting Vincent, making him twice blessed!
Deeno, a sweet terrier mix, was found with a broken front leg. The bone was sticking through the fur, and appeared to have been infected for some time. Attempts to save the leg were unsuccessful, but Deeno seems much happier after the amputation that relieved him of his pain, and he has no trouble running around and playing with his buddies at Dogland! Deeno is available for adoption.
Thank you for helping us help them! Every donation makes a difference in a life.
