Village Initiative for Empowerment of Women (VIEW) has planned to help 1000 flood affected families in Northern Bangladesh who have lost their homes or livelihoods. Assistance will be offered to the most affected people in Lalmonirhat and Kurigram District in Bangladesh. The assistance includes multipurpose cash grants to those eligible as such they can restore their normal lives. Recipients will be able to use the cash grants to purchase essential item/comoditiess to meet their daily family needs.

The low-lying areas in the Lalmonirhat the District Norther paart of Bangladesh  as reported Dahgram in Patgram upazila, Saniajan, Goddimari, Sindurna, Patikapara and Singimari of Hatibandha upazila, Bhotmari and Kakina in Kaliganj upazila, Mohishkhocha and Palashi of Aditmari upazila, Khuniagach, Rajpur and Gokunda in Sadar upazila were flooded.

On the other hand in Kurigram District Northern part of Bangladesh also reported that erosion by river of Dharala has taken a serious turn in 67 points of the district including Charbazra in Ulipur upazila, Sardob, Moghalbasa in Sadar upazila, Char Mekli in Phulbari upazila and Dhaurarkuthi in Bhurungamari upazila of the district. Some 50 establishments including a primary school building have been devoured by the river in the lastflashed flood 2013.  Considering the flood victim peoples affected by devastating flood situation emergency response is necessary to provides cash and foods. 

It is very petty to say that no funding were made  from GlobalGiving Comunity Platform to response the  peoples those seriously affected.However we derived a messive fund raisiing inuitiatives at locally  to help affected peoples in kinds support those were in need during the flood. However, currently they returned to their houses torebuild and resore their normal livelihood.It is our felt need some potential fundinf to rehabilate then in communities.
