EMERGENCY RESPONSE TO COVID-19 IN BULOBURTE DIST

Dear colleagues, Currently the local BUDO health department, especially the COVID-19 prevention unit, has always been aware of COVID-19, but our EMERGENCY response to COVID-19 in Buloburte District Somalia has not received any funding for some time. so we have invested in other expenses that we have set aside for COVID-19 during the worst season and we are still continuing our community awareness efforts.So we are asking all those who can do something about this project to give us a big support and we are asking for it to be distributed to all the users of social media and others and we hope that our project will be successful soon.

Hi colleagues, 

BUDO Bulay Development organization Somalia has started and organized a mobile team which is struggling to stop manage and control The disaster disease COVID-19, the team established to make an awareness raising effort in the rural residents and urban populations in the Buloburte District in Hiran province of the Somalia. 

As well as BUDO conducted an assessment to make and secure how to provide the learning guidance and instructions of the team is working with the project committee and other potential populations in those areas.

Budo have followed and trained its staff the right way health cluster procedures and Ministry of health ,COVID-19 is a hazard disease and our Mobile team successfully completed their work and will sustain to survive any progress or Case to COVID-19 in the area will report immediately to the main hospital in the district or the region.

Now there is no cases in the Buloburte district in Hiran region Somalia, and we would like to thank our donors and the globalgiving.

Dear colleagues, 

As we all know COVID-19 is a global disaster,  BUDO started a quick prevention of the COVID-19 and make improve community mobilization on how to identify signs & symptoms, isolate or at least separate suspected patients of COVID-19 from the community. So, we're anticipating that this project will enhance community awareness on COVID-19 among the community, and prevent 500HH from COVID-19 providing PPE(Personal Preventive Equipment) such as masks, gloves, alcohol, soap and WASH hand facility.

Bulay Development organization BUDO Somalia mostly got a support to the local business direct contribution kits like PPE (personal preventive equipment), like  Face masks,gloves, Alcohol, soap and hand wash facilities and hand sanitizers.

But the online donation system through globalgiving was provided only 22 Dollars. 

We are normally encouraging our donors to support this project through globalgiving system.
