Now, We have been implementing on recovery project for instance Integrated Community Shelters (ICS) and much much more....

Challenge

Torrential rain in Jakarta since Tuesday (31/12/2019) triggered flooding in the area on Wednesday morning (1/1/2020), New Year 2020. All 5 districts in Jakarta were submerged with various water level. Besides Jakarta, the area of Bogor, Tangerang, Depok, Bekasi city were also affected by floodwater. 53 casualties have been reported while 183,530 residents (41,495 families) have been evacuated. Estimated 185,530 people (41,495 families) across Jakarta have been evacuated.

Solution

Aksi Cepat Tanggap's Emergency Response team has deployed their team to rescue, to evacuate the survivors on Wednesday (1/1/2020) morning. The project distribute public kitchen (cooked meal), supply clean water, supply clothes, medical services, shelters, etc.

Long-Term Impact

The project will benefit to affected people in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, Tangerang and Lebak Banten during the emergency respond and for recovery project to rebuild public facilities such as school, infrastructures (bridges) those damages by flood, also will build the Integrated Community Shelters (ICS) for survivors who lost their houses in Lebak Banten.
