Dear friends,
The emergency response project is an initiative of Rural Health Mission Nigeria to provide medical and humanitarian support for vulnerable communities during disaster or other emergencies such as disease outbreak, flood, fire disaster etc. According to the latest food security assessments in Nigeria, 4.1 million people in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States -- three of the states in north-eastern Nigeria, are at risk of severe food insecurity in this lean season. Unfortunately, there is drought in some of part of these three states pointing risk of further food scarcity
This year (2023) we have voted up to USD20,000 in support for communities experiencing hardship resulting from any form of disaster listed above.
Even though, on this fundraiser, we are only able to raised USD15 but we are optimistic that with generous people like you, we will meet our target before the end of the year. We therefore, encourage sharing of this information within your network and we will also consider other sources of income as well for funding this critical plan.
