This project will create awareness, provide both food supplies and educational support among most vulnerable groups especially 120 women, 1 per household and that will enable them to feed their families and also educate them on how to prevent contracting the COVID-19 virus.In Uganda, due to lock down,and curfew shops, business and fear created among community the women have been the most affected since they can't go to work and yet they have to feed their children.
In Uganda, we currently have 45 cases of COVID-19 out of 1735 clients tested and yet the number quarantined is increasing due to the contacts. The government has banned public transport and non-food markets. Prior to that it had closed all bars and including a nighttime curfew, banning the use of all privately-owned vehicles, and closing shopping malls and non-food stores for 14 days.This has affected rural women who rely on agricultural products since they can't transport them to markets.

With the support of our donors and well wishers, our rural women and their families will be out of danger of going hungry during this COVID-19 pandemic. The mothers and their children will stay healthy( Reduce on malnutrition cases) as they await for the situation to calm down we will help reduce the impact of COVID-19 on their families.
