The Power of Your Generosity: 2024 in Review

Distributing 1000 Chicks
Distributing 1000 Chicks

As the year comes to a close, we’re filled with excitement for what’s ahead—and gratitude for everything we’ve achieved together. Before diving into the new year, let’s take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come as a community committed to making a difference around the world.

In 2024, we launched a new project: distributing 1,000 chicks to elderly residents. In western Ukraine's Zakarpattya region, many elderly individuals face immense challenges. With sons and husbands drafted into the military, soaring inflation, and dwindling resources, their already harsh lives have become even more difficult due to the ongoing crisis.

Each chick, purchased for just €0.50, is raised with garden weeds as feed—an accessible solution for those living in rural areas. By fall, these chicks will grow into chickens, providing much-needed nourishment. Hens will lay eggs, offering a sustainable food source amid skyrocketing prices.Beyond nutrition, we hope these chicks bring companionship, acting as a source of comfort for single, elderly individuals.

We also witnessed a special moment for the community! The Ukrainian bishop visited the construction site of the General Welfare Center, a project bringing hope and support to those in need.

Our mission is powered by the incredible people we serve—but it’s YOU who make it all possible. Your support helps dreams take flight and creates a safe, welcoming space for those in need. Because of you, we can dream bigger, reach higher, and work harder every day.

As we step into 2025, let’s continue this journey together. With your help, we can turn even more challenges into opportunities and more dreams into reality.

Thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to making next year even more impactful—together!
