Campaign Phase: Active Fundraising & Emergency Response Readiness

 Dear GlobalGiving Community,

Thank you for standing with American Aid (A A Relief) as we respond to one of the most urgent humanitarian crises unfolding today. Over 830,000 people in Lebanon have been displaced by escalating conflict—families who fled their homes with almost nothing and are now living in overcrowded schools, temporary shelters, and public spaces. Many lack reliable access to food, hygiene supplies, blankets, and basic necessities. Without urgent support, the most vulnerable—children and the elderly—face worsening conditions every day.

This is our first quarterly report, and while fundraising is still at the earliest stage, we are operationally ready to begin delivering aid the moment funding allows.

Progress Update (This Quarter)

This quarter our focus was on establishing response readiness:

Activated coordination with trusted local partners in Lebanon to identify the most vulnerable displaced families and confirm priority distribution sites.

Mapped urgent needs on the ground—food packages, hygiene kits, blankets, and essential supplies—to ensure aid reaches families living in shelters and temporary housing.

Prepared a phased distribution plan so relief can begin immediately as funding thresholds are reached, with transparent tracking from the first delivery.

The Ongoing Need

The humanitarian crisis in Lebanon remains severe and urgent:

830,000+ people have been displaced with little warning, carrying almost nothing from their homes.

Families in overcrowded shelters lack consistent access to food, clean hygiene supplies, and basic warmth.

Children and the elderly are most at risk—facing malnutrition, illness, and deteriorating conditions daily.

Without immediate relief, vulnerability deepens and recovery becomes harder with every passing week.

Behind every number is a family that had a home, a routine, and a life—now sleeping in a school hallway, waiting for help.

Program Model (What Funding Will Deliver)

Once funded, American Aid (A A Relief) will distribute emergency relief directly to displaced families through local partners, including:

Emergency food packages to address immediate hunger and nutritional needs

Hygiene kits to protect health and dignity in overcrowded shelter conditions

Blankets and essential supplies for families lacking basic necessities

Direct distribution to shelters and temporary housing sites across affected areas

Transparent documentation with photos and beneficiary data from every distribution

Challenges & Strategic Response

Primary Challenge: With $70 raised toward a $60,000 goal, full relief operations have not yet begun. The need is urgent, but consistent supply and distribution require resources to mobilize.

Our response this quarter:

Maintaining active coordination with local partners so distributions can begin without delay as donations arrive.

Pursuing expanded outreach to raise awareness of this crisis and connect new donors to this campaign.

Preparing milestone-based activation so that even partial funding immediately triggers first-phase aid delivery to the most vulnerable families.

Next Quarter Plan (Pending Funding Growth)

Begin distributing food packages, hygiene kits, and blankets to displaced families in verified shelter locations.

Report concrete outputs: families reached, packages distributed, and supplies delivered.

Expand distribution capacity through local partner networks as funding grows.

Provide photo-documented impact updates so donors can see exactly where their contributions go.

Closing

The families of Lebanon cannot wait. We are ready to act—and every donation brings us closer to delivering food, hygiene, warmth, and dignity to families who have lost everything.

With gratitude,

The American Aid (A A Relief) Team
