Our organization continues to follow closely the difficult living conditions faced by vulnerable Congolese refugees, especially regarding hygiene and sanitation in the camp.
Although we have not yet received funding for this project, we remain committed to advocating for better sanitation facilities and improved living conditions for refugees. The shortage of toilets and poor hygiene conditions have increased the spread of preventable diseases, affecting many people in the camp, particularly children and elderly persons who are the most vulnerable.
Despite these challenges, we continue to engage with community members and raise awareness about the urgent need for sanitation support. We are also appealing to donors and humanitarian partners who may be interested in supporting this important sector. Improving hygiene and sanitation would greatly reduce disease outbreaks and restore dignity and safety for refugee families living in the camp.
