Extreme rainfall has triggered floods, landslides, and strong winds across Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, forcing millions to flee their homes. Thousands of houses, roads, schools, and farmlands are damaged, while many lives are lost, missing, or injured. Survivors struggle in evacuation shelters with limited food, clean water, and medical aid. Through PYI Yatim & Zakat, hope is delivered.!
Extreme rainfall over four consecutive days has triggered flash floods, landslides, and violent winds across Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. More than 53 districts are affected, resulting in hundreds of deaths, many missing, and thousands injured. Millions have lost homes, access to food, clean water, medical care, and safe shelter. Survivors are now struggling in evacuation camps with very limited supplies, urgently needing humanitarian assistance.
This project will provide immediate life-saving aid to disaster-affected families in Sumatra through PYI Yatim & Zakat. Funds raised will be used to deliver ready-to-eat meals, clean water, hygiene kits, medical services, and emergency logistics for evacuees in temporary shelters. The project also supports public kitchens, evacuation efforts, and field coordination to ensure assistance reaches the most vulnerable communities, restoring safety, dignity, and hope for survivors.
