The poor need help accessing quality private care. Many travel great distances to go to a private hospital such as the Yacoobi Private Hospital, Herat. Care of the poor is suppported in part by fees from well off patients and support from this project. The photo shows a mother who needed care for her young daughter.She was relieved to hear that fee support was available and that her financial situation would not prevent her child receiving care.
