Afghanistan is developing, and support for the private sector is a crucial part of renewing a society that has been devastated by war and civil strife. The Professor Yacoobi Private Hospital is well regarded and people travel great distances to seek treatment there. Afghans can buy some drugs in the marketplace but often these drugs are of low quality. The Yacoobi Hospital is known for providing only the best quality drugs at its pharmacy so people feel confident about the medicine they are receiving.
Drug support is part of the care needed by surgical patients who come to the hospital for treatment. In the last two months, there have been 35 surgeries performed and patients have been happy with the care received and the quality of medicines provided.
Thank you for your interest in Afghanistan and your support for our projects.
