Supporting farmers across our communities remain a sustainable course towards adequate food production in our society. To this end, Annegift Foundation have been consistently involved in providing. We appreciate the usual support of the GlobalGiving community on the provision of necessary assistance needed to function and sustain the goal of our organization.
Farming at all levels remain one of the major means of livelihood for most families in Nigeria which boast on a multicultural and diverse landscape.
In recent times agricultural and farming activities have been threatened due to increasingly levels of insecurity from intercommunal clashes, herdsmen chaos, terrorism among other forms of challenges which poised as threat to human lives and survival.
As a result of these challenges families have been displaced, food production and distribution have been truncated which all remain as major issues to be addressed.
We have been able to:
1.Identify vulnerable families in affected communities.
2.Assist with rehabilitation of their shelter
3.Support with farming tools and seedlings
4.Training and management of agricultural resources for optimal cultivation and harvest.
