A family facing hunger needs food now. But to create lasting change, that same family also needs opportunities to become more food secure in the future.
Karamoja is facing a significant food crisis. According to the latest 2026 IPC assessment, approximately 473,000 people are experiencing Crisis or Emergency levels of acute food insecurity, representing about 32% of the analysed population.
The nutritional situation among children is equally concerning, with approximately 122,100 children aged 6–59 months projected to face acute malnutrition, including approximately 30,600 children with severe acute malnutrition.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is seeking support to respond to both immediate and long-term needs.
Your donation can help provide food packages to families experiencing hunger. At the same time, we want to support agricultural opportunities through seeds, farming skills, knowledge and appropriate resources.
This approach is about more than giving food. It is about helping families move from immediate crisis toward greater capacity, resilience and food security.
Objectives:
Give food today. Help build skills for tomorrow.
Your donation can make a difference at both ends of the journey—from immediate hunger relief to a more secure future.
