Hunger is a challenge that requires collective action. Governments, communities, organizations, donors and individuals all have a role to play in supporting families experiencing food insecurity.
In Karamoja, approximately 473,000 people are facing Crisis or Emergency levels of acute food insecurity, representing around 32% of the analysed population, according to the latest 2026 IPC assessment.
The situation among young children is especially concerning, with approximately 122,100 children aged 6–59 months projected to face acute malnutrition, including approximately 30,600 children with severe acute malnutrition.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing to the GlobalGiving community to join us in supporting vulnerable families.
We want to help provide emergency food packages to households experiencing hunger while also supporting practical solutions that can strengthen household food production.
With donor support, we can work toward providing food assistance while supporting seeds, agricultural knowledge, farming skills and appropriate resources.
Objectives:
Together, we can turn compassion into action.
A donation can help provide food to a hungry family today. A partnership can help create opportunities for food security tomorrow.
Please donate through GlobalGiving, share this campaign with your network, and help us reach more families in Karamoja.
