Emergency food assistance can save a family from going without a meal, but vulnerable households also need opportunities to build a more secure future.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing for support to reach families affected by hunger in Uganda, including communities in Karamoja and other underserved areas.
Our approach combines immediate food relief with longer-term agricultural empowerment. Donations can help provide food packages while also supporting seeds, farming skills, agricultural knowledge, and appropriate resources.
We want families to receive support when they are hungry and also have opportunities to strengthen their ability to produce food in the future.
Objectives:
To provide immediate food packages to vulnerable families.
To reach food-insecure communities in Karamoja.
To support other underserved households in Uganda.
To provide seeds and agricultural resources.
To strengthen farming and food-production skills.
To promote sustainable household food security.
To support families toward greater resilience and self-reliance.
Help us give families more than emergency food—help us give them an opportunity for a more secure future.
