Emergency food assistance can help a family through a difficult moment, but empowerment can help that family prepare for the future.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda seeks to support vulnerable households facing hunger in Uganda, including communities in Karamoja and other underserved areas.
Our immediate response is to provide food packages to families experiencing food shortages. Alongside this, we want to provide opportunities for families to strengthen their food production through seeds, agricultural knowledge, practical training, and appropriate resources.
This approach recognizes both the immediate need for food and the importance of longer-term resilience.
Objectives:
To provide emergency food assistance to vulnerable families.
To reach households facing hunger in Karamoja and other underserved areas.
To provide seeds and agricultural resources.
To strengthen household farming skills.
To promote sustainable food production.
To support families toward greater food security and self-reliance.
To mobilize resources and partnerships for vulnerable communities.
Help us move families from emergency hunger relief toward greater food security and empowerment.
