From Emergency Food to Lasting Security

Emergency food assistance can make a significant difference to a family facing hunger. But vulnerable households also need opportunities to strengthen their ability to produce and access food in the future.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda is seeking support for families experiencing food insecurity across Uganda, including communities in Karamoja and other underserved areas.

We aim to provide immediate food packages to families in urgent need while supporting longer-term agricultural solutions. Seeds, farming skills, agricultural knowledge, and appropriate resources can help families improve food production and build resilience.

Our vision is to move from simply responding to hunger toward supporting families to build stronger and more sustainable food-security systems.

Objectives:

To provide emergency food assistance to vulnerable families.
To reach food-insecure households in Karamoja and other underserved communities.
To provide seeds and appropriate agricultural resources.
To strengthen farming knowledge and practical skills.
To promote sustainable household food production.
To support families in building greater resilience and self-reliance.
To mobilize donors and partners for long-term food-security initiatives.
