Emergency food assistance can save a family from going without a meal, but long-term food security also requires opportunities to produce food.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda seeks to support vulnerable families across Uganda, including communities in Karamoja, by combining immediate food relief with agricultural empowerment.
Through donations, families can receive essential food packages during periods of urgent need. Where possible, they can also receive seeds, farming knowledge, practical training, and agricultural resources that can help them grow food for their households.
Objectives:
Provide immediate food assistance to vulnerable families.
Reach food-insecure households in Karamoja and other underserved areas.
Provide seeds and appropriate agricultural resources.
Strengthen household farming skills.
Encourage families to produce more of their own food.
Promote resilience and sustainable food security.
Build partnerships to expand agricultural support.
Help us provide food today and equip families with opportunities to grow food tomorrow.
