Help Families Rise Above Food Insecurity

Food insecurity can place families in a cycle of uncertainty. When there is not enough food, household resources are quickly exhausted, leaving families with few options for meeting their other essential needs.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda seeks to support vulnerable families across Uganda, including underserved communities in Karamoja and other areas affected by food insecurity.

Through donor support, we can provide food packages to households facing immediate hunger. This assistance can help families meet urgent nutritional needs and provide relief when they need it most.

We also want to help families strengthen their ability to produce food. Providing seeds, agricultural knowledge, farming skills, and appropriate resources can create opportunities for households to improve food production and build resilience.

Objectives:

To provide emergency food relief to vulnerable households.
To reach families affected by food insecurity in Karamoja and other underserved communities.
To provide seeds and agricultural resources.
To strengthen practical agricultural skills.
To promote sustainable household food production.
To help families build resilience against future food shortages.
To mobilize donor and partner support for vulnerable communities.
