From a Helping Hand to a Harvest

A helping hand can provide immediate relief to a family experiencing hunger. But with the right support, that helping hand can also become the beginning of a harvest.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda is seeking support for vulnerable families facing food insecurity across Uganda, including communities in Karamoja and other underserved areas.

Food packages can help families meet their immediate needs when household resources are insufficient. However, our goal is to complement emergency assistance with agricultural opportunities that can help families produce food in the future.

Support for seeds, farming skills, agricultural knowledge, and appropriate resources can give vulnerable households the opportunity to strengthen their food production and resilience.

Objectives:

To provide immediate food assistance to vulnerable families.
To reach food-insecure communities, including Karamoja.
To provide seeds and appropriate agricultural resources.
To strengthen household farming skills and knowledge.
To encourage sustainable food production.
To support families in building resilience and self-reliance.
To mobilize donors and partners to support food-security initiatives.

We appeal to everyone who believes that vulnerable families deserve both compassion and opportunity.
