Planting Seeds of Food Security

A food package can provide immediate relief, but seeds can represent an opportunity for a family to begin producing food for the future.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda is working to support vulnerable families facing hunger and food insecurity in Uganda, including underserved communities in Karamoja and other areas experiencing significant challenges.

We seek donor support to provide emergency food assistance to families who urgently need help. At the same time, we aim to support agricultural initiatives that provide families with seeds, practical farming skills, agricultural knowledge, and other appropriate resources.

By combining immediate relief with sustainable agricultural support, we hope to help families address today's needs while preparing for tomorrow.

Objectives:

To provide immediate food packages to families facing hunger.
To reach vulnerable households in Karamoja and other food-insecure communities.
To distribute seeds and appropriate agricultural resources.
To build practical farming and food-production skills.
To encourage sustainable household food production.
To strengthen resilience and longer-term food security.
To mobilize donors, volunteers, organizations, and partners to support vulnerable families.
