Rescue Families From Acute Hunger in Karamoja

Food insecurity can place families under enormous pressure. When household resources are limited, securing enough food can become a daily challenge, particularly for families living in vulnerable and underserved communities.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda is working to support families facing hunger across Uganda, including communities in Karamoja and other areas where food insecurity affects household wellbeing.

Immediate food assistance can help a family through a difficult period. A food package can provide essential items and help ensure that vulnerable household members have something to eat.

But our work also looks toward the future. We want to support families with seeds, agricultural knowledge, practical farming skills, and other resources that can help them produce food and strengthen their capacity to cope with future challenges.

Objectives:

• To provide immediate food assistance to vulnerable households.
• To support families facing food insecurity in Karamoja and other communities.
• To provide seeds and agricultural resources to supported households.
• To strengthen practical farming knowledge and skills.
• To encourage sustainable food production.
• To promote resilience and greater household food security.
• To build partnerships that can expand assistance to vulnerable families.
