Hunger can affect every part of family life. When parents struggle to find enough food, children may go without nutritious meals, household wellbeing can suffer, and families may have fewer opportunities to focus on education, health, and livelihoods.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is working to support vulnerable families facing food insecurity in Uganda, including underserved communities in Karamoja and other areas where families may experience significant challenges accessing food and livelihood opportunities.
Through donor support, we aim to provide immediate food packages to families experiencing urgent need. This assistance can help put food on the table during difficult periods and provide families with much-needed relief.
However, our vision goes beyond emergency food assistance. We also seek to support longer-term food security through seeds, agricultural knowledge, practical farming skills, and other appropriate resources. These interventions can help families strengthen their ability to grow food and become more resilient.
Objectives:
We sincerely appreciate every donor who helps us reach vulnerable families. Your generosity can provide immediate relief while contributing to opportunities that can help families build a more secure future.
Help us put food on the table today while supporting families to grow food tomorrow.
