Summary
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is currently facing a major humanitarian emergency caused by severe flooding and landslides following weeks of torrential rainfall. Entire communities have been destroyed, thousands of families displaced, and access to food, clean water, shelter, and healthcare has become critically limited.
Reports indicate that at least 120 people have died, dozens remain injured or missing, and more than 320,000 people have been affected across over 360 villages and 36 districts. Provinces including Kinshasa, Kasai-Central, and South Kivu have suffered devastating damage.
Save life make difference is launching an emergency humanitarian intervention to provide immediate lifesaving assistance to vulnerable flood victims.
