Children are powerful agents of change within their families and communities. Thanks to your generosity, our hygiene awareness initiatives continue to empower children with knowledge that helps protect entire households from Ebola and other infectious diseases.
This reporting period saw increased engagement with schools and community youth groups. Educational sessions focused on proper handwashing techniques, personal hygiene, and the importance of maintaining clean environments.
Children enthusiastically participated in demonstrations and activities designed to reinforce healthy habits. Many have taken these lessons home, encouraging parents and siblings to adopt improved hygiene practices as well.
Teachers and parents have reported noticeable improvements in handwashing behaviors among children. These changes contribute not only to Ebola prevention but also to broader efforts to reduce the spread of other communicable diseases.
By investing in children's health education, we are helping establish lifelong habits that can benefit communities for years to come. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by young participants continue to inspire hope and optimism.
Thank you for supporting programs that empower children and families with practical health knowledge. Your generosity is helping create healthier homes, stronger communities, and a more resilient future for vulnerable populations across Uganda.
