Dear Donors
On 18 to 20 June 2026, Mbarara Rise Foundation conducted an Ebola prevention and community protection activity aimed at strengthening awareness and reducing infection risks among vulnerable communities.
The activity included community sensitization sessions on Ebola transmission, prevention measures, and early reporting of symptoms. Participants were guided on proper hygiene practices such as regular handwashing, use of sanitizers, and avoiding unsafe contact with suspected cases. We also distributed basic hygiene materials, including soap and handwashing supplies, to support household-level prevention.
The intervention improved community awareness, strengthened prevention practices, and enhanced preparedness to respond to potential Ebola risks.
We sincerely appreciate the continued support from partners locally and kindly welcome further assistance to expand these lifesaving interventions to more communities at risk.
God Bless you
Claire Natumanya.
