VIDA supplied a team of 12 medical professionals travelling from Northern California for a one week medical mission to Santiago. The team will be working in the poorest districts of Santiago. The team set up clinics on the streets of Santiago and delivered treatment and screening to over 1,000 patients. Among the supplies VIDA provided the team with were medicine, sutures, exam gloves, first aid items, thermometers, stethoscopes as well as a wide variety of supplies necessary to run a clinic.
VIDA is working on a arranging a new container to be sent in the fall of 2016 that will carry medical supplies and equipment that will be distributed to our partner in Santiago.
We thank you for you continued support in helping to serve the people of Chile.
