From the effort of our community outreach officers, 50 families were assessed and selected to be assisted through creating their own home gardens.
Our officers learned about the families' needs, and after discussion, our team provided 50 families with home gardening materials including garden nets, chicken nets, chickens as vegetable seeds of eggplant, lettuce, chili, cucumber, pumpkin and morning glory.
We truly believe this is the most sustainable way to help feed these families. Not only we are providing them with food, but we are providing them with a garden that can feed them for hopefully years to come.
