Executive Summary
In the face of ongoing war, the "Emergency Backpack" project continues to be a vital lifeline for Ukraine’s most vulnerable children. Over the past three months, we have significantly expanded our reach, delivering essential supplies, psychological comfort, and educational tools to children who have lost the most.
Our mission focuses on three critical groups: Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who have fled frontline hostilities, children with disabilities or special developmental needs, and those living in high-risk frontline regions like Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Chernihiv.
The Impact in Numbers
Your contributions have allowed us to support a diverse range of institutions and family-type orphanages (DBSTs). In this quarter alone, we reached over 1,000 children across Ukraine.

What’s Inside the "Emergency Backpack"?
More than just physical items, these supplies represent a sense of normalcy. For a child living in a shelter or a new city, a simple sketchbook or a set of clay is a tool for healing.
1. Education Supplies: We distributed hundreds of notebooks, office paper, pens, and graphite pencils. These items enable continued learning and prevent educational gaps during displacement.
2. Art Therapy Tools: We provided watercolor paints, Marco colored pencils, felt-tip pens, and drawing albums. This is critical for psychological recovery, allowing children to express trauma through art.
3. Developmental Materials: Sets of light plasticine (36 colors), colored cardboard, and construction paper were delivered to help support fine motor skills and provide a creative distraction during air raids.
4. Safety & Preparedness: Specialized Emergency Backpacks were delivered to children in the Chernihiv region, providing a ready-to-go solution for quick evacuations to bomb shelters.
A Story of Resilience
Among our beneficiaries is the Tselukhina family, IDPs who fled from Rubizhne (Luhansk region) to the Ivano-Frankivsk region. With 10 children under their care, the transition to a new life is daunting. By providing these children with quality stationery and creative kits, we didn't just give them school supplies—we gave them a reason to smile and a way to reclaim their childhood in a safe environment.
Similarly, in Chernihiv, 22 specialized Emergency Backpacks were delivered to a social-psychological rehabilitation center. These backpacks ensure that when the sirens wail, the children have their essential items packed and ready, reducing panic and providing a sense of security.
