Thank you all for your support!

Through our project, we have continued our efforts to assist local residents in need of assistance amidst the turmoil caused by the political upheaval. However, as you know, on March 28, the region was hit by a major earthquake and further assistance was needed.

We have experience in providing emergency assistance in the past, and this time we immediately began surveying the damage and distributing drinking water and packed lunches to the affected people.

OISCA’ facility also suffered some damage, such as falling ceilings and collapsed warehouse walls, but no human casualties. Our trainees and staff have been actively involved in cleaning up collapsed buildings.

April is the hottest month of the year. People whose houses have collapsed have taken shelter in temples and other places, but the severe heat and lack of water, including drinking water, are exhausting them.

We continue to provide support by delivering packed lunches and drinking water to volunteers helping to remove debris and to staff working at mother-child care centers.

On the other hand, people who have lost family members are depressed and do not want to eat. I believe that mental care for such people is also necessary support.
We would also like to survey the challenges faced by the people living in the rural areas where we have been working to identify their needs and provide ongoing support.

We look forward to your heartwarming support to bring smiles back to the people in the affected areas!
