Emergency Appeal: Save Our Charity

It’s been a while since the height of the COVID-19 crisis, and while the world has mostly moved on, we’re still feeling the long-term effects.

The truth is, we’re still trying to get back to where we were before the pandemic. Many of our programs took a hit—some slowed down, some needed restructuring—and while we’ve made good progress, full sustainability has taken longer than we hoped.

But here’s something we’re incredibly proud of: we didn’t lose a single person or project.
During one of the most challenging periods in recent history, we kept going—thanks to the resilience of our teams, our communities, and supporters like you.

Today, though, we’re facing a new challenge. Our reserves are nearly gone. As a charity, we’re operating day-to-day, and that means we’ve lost the flexibility we once had to respond quickly when emergencies arise—whether it’s a natural disaster, community crisis, or something unexpected.

We know times are tough for many, and we’re so grateful for everything you’ve already given. But if you’re able to support us again, GlobalGiving’s Bonus Day on July 16–17 is a great opportunity.
