Lives saved through Emergency Ambulance Services

By Isaac Musalirwe | Project Leader

Thank you for your generous support that has enabled us to sustain our emergency ambulance services at Whispers. This critical service has been a lifeline, particularly for critically ill children and mothers in urgent need of care. Through your support, we have been able to save many lives and ensure that those in need of immediate medical attention are transported swiftly to the hospital.

The ambulance has been essential in transporting 50 critically ill children, providing them with the timely medical attention needed for their survival for the past three months. The ability to quickly get these children to the hospital has been a game-changer in their recovery. In addition, the ambulance has also been used to transport mothers, many of whom required urgent medical care during labor or due to complications. This service has helped prevent maternal and neonatal complications, ensuring that both mothers and newborns receive the care they need in time.

This would not have been possible without the support of our donors. Your generosity has allowed us to offer this vital service, and we want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your continued partnership. Your donations have directly contributed to saving lives and providing peace of mind to families in crisis.

While the ambulance has been a crucial resource, there are still challenges we face in ensuring it remains fully operational. We are committed to maintaining its readiness and providing uninterrupted service, which requires ongoing support for maintenance, fuel, and staff. We are focused on keeping this service available to those who need it most, and we are confident that with continued support, we can meet these needs.

In future, we plan to expand our ambulance services to reach even more remote areas, ensuring that all children and mothers, no matter where they live, have access to life-saving care.

Thank you for your support towards our emergency ambulance services
