Dear Friend,
Happy Holidays!
We appreciate you walking this path towards a Cambodia that is free of violence against women and children, and hope you find our latest updates jolly!
In the last quarter, we provided counselling to 41 clients (2 men). Most of the clients have experienced domestic violence.
We referred 13 cases to receive support such as legal aid, health, and skills. 8 cases received bicycle support for the school, 10 received emergency food support and baby foods. - Through Positive Parenting, 26 parents (19 mothers) participated in the program.
Our Men’s Coffee Talk engaged 14 fathers. Our Parent Support Group engaged 27 parents in an orientation workshop. To increase the practices for those parents, WRC social workers have ongoing follow-up and home visits to motivate them for positive change or to respond to any practice challenges.
We also conducted an annual reflection on the parent support group, 36 parents (6 males) participated in the meeting.
Our Safer Cities for Girls project reached and engaged 1,166 individuals, out of which 786 were females (550 girls under 18 years of age, 236 women over 18 years of age, 228 boys under age 18, and 152 men over age 18).
This project is essential for the public's education on Gender Based Violence.
Thank you for walking with us, and we will update you soon on all of our year's achievements that are also yours to celebrate!
