A coalition of leading global & Ghanaian NGOs, PYXERA Global, Recycle Up Ghana & The ASASE Foundation has come together to support these underserved communities. Donations will provide immediate safety and economic relief such as rations, PPEs & medical aid (pop-up clinics), while also developing systemic, community-driven solutions such as registration for basic health insurance (NHIS).
Since launching the campaign, PYXERA Global is pleased to announce that we are coordinating activities with our partners, Recycle Up Ghana and ASASE Foundation on the disbursements. These disbursements have allowed us to assign street artisans to create masks made from Kente cloth for the waste pickers with deployment beginning in Q3. We are excited to see the project develop into Q3 and the remainder of 2020.
