This project aims to provide targeted assistance to alleviate the suffering of elderly individuals in Ethiopia. It focuses on fulfilling essential needs through financial support, healthcare, shelter, and awareness programs. The initiative targets 100 elderly beneficiaries, addressing their immediate requirements and promoting well-being and dignity.
Ethiopia's rapid urban growth has increased poverty, especially among older adults. Many elders live alone without income, pensions, or family support. Rising food and healthcare costs leave them vulnerable to malnutrition, untreated illness, and homelessness. Conflict and food insecurity have worsened their situation. This project supports the most vulnerable elders with the monthly financial assistance, healthcare access, and essential items to restore health and dignity.
The project addresses the critical needs of elderly individuals in Ethiopia, who are struggling with poverty, malnutrition, and inadequate living conditions. The project provides monthly cash allowances of around $20 to 100 beneficiaries, giving them essential financial support for food, medication, and basic necessities; provide essential items such as wheelchairs and crutches to enhancing mobility, regular health checkups, counseling sessions, shelter, and create awareness.

These efforts reduce dependency, enhance physical independence, and support both physical and mental health, contributing to a better quality of life. The awareness campaign fosters community empathy and support.
