In February 2024, as part of our STARS (Students Taking Active Responsibility in Society) series, we hosted a session with Osemhen Akhibi on the theme of 'Personal Victory.' Six girls attended in person, and approximately seven joined online. The session highlighted the significance of how others contribute to our victories through the support we receive and the help we give.
Following this, in March, as a solidarity activity, the 13 girls who participated in the session extended its impact by volunteering to tutor over 20 girls. These girls, mostly their peers or younger, with limited access to quality education, were tutored in various subjects. The mutual joy and benefit were evident between the participants.
At Elara Study Centre, we are committed to helping girls lead by serving. We intend to continue and expand these efforts to create a lasting ripple effect. We've shared here a few pictures of the talk and the tutoring session. We hope you like them and that they inspire you to continue supporting our project for the definitive Elara.
