By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kind support to our project to provide water and sanitation to those affected by the extreme warm weather phenomenon. This reporting period I am happy to announce that we have completed installing two units 10,000-liters rainwater harvesters to the Buenavista Elementary School located in very mountainous region in the province of Zamboanga del Norte. The schoolchildren have now direct access to clean water since rain is plentiful here. We are very proud of this achievement because constructing the harvester is a big challenge given the difficulty in hauling materials up the mountains.
We will make this milestone a model for the entire province and hoping that other donors will provide us with much-needed financial support in order to build some more.
Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
