Effects of El Nino and Climate Change now hitting water shortage and heavy rain spell
Association for Humanitarian Development is working in rural poor families of coastal areas of Sindh and helping farmers to get update on climate change and rain spells, but the irrigation water shortage hit large scale farmers to not planting rice crop and they become so worry about their food security
2ndly the rain spell shifted 45 days late as in the past monsoon starts at June to July and now rain starts in end of August to September. The recent rains hit in Karachi and rural areas with damaging rice harvested crops etc
AHD working on climate change and planting trees on large scale and hope with this project we can increase our efforts to save nature, climate change and livelihoods of rural people
