El Nino Effecting badly on Lower Sindh cropping pattern of small land holders
AHD is working in small farmers in Sindh Pakistan since 2002-2003 and during the period of 15 years AHD experienced the farmers declining situation of the crops and agricultural sector, the farmers were growing vegetable and cash crops on 5 to 10 acres now after 15 years deceased to 2 to 5 acres means it is the loss of almost more than 50% damages and losses.
What needs to face El Nino and climate challenges to create environment to conserve natural agricultural practices as well as plantation of trees on large scale and help farmers with small scale framings.
AHD successfully helped some 40 small farmers and the cultivated small scale crops and now happily start such models to secure food for their families.
