EduNations provides high quality education in some of the most rural villages in Sierra Leone, Africa to children who could not otherwise afford or access it. These children will now have the opportunity to change the impoverished course of their lives and discover a new direction that uses their gifts and abilities to provide a higher quality of life. Your donation will go towards urgent resources needed for the opening of our schools this September!
Many children in the rural communities of Sierra Leone, West Africa do not have access to education because the villages they live in are either too far removed from the schools in neighboring towns or their families are not able to afford tuition and school supplies. Since they do not have the opportunity to attend school, they are often forced to work on the farm or forced into marriages and child bearing at a very young age.
EduNations builds schools in some of the most remote villages in Sierra Leone in order to provide education to these children who were not able to attend school before. The schools are free to the students and use the government curriculum to provide a quality education. These schools are operated and funded by EduNations in order to assure that the needs of the schools will be met. This project will help to fund crucial costs so that students can receive a great education this school year.
The children who now have access to education will have the opportunity to explore their talents and abilities to find a higher calling than working on the farm for the rest of their lives. They now have hope to change the impoverished course of their lives and find sufficient ways to provide sustainable solutions for themselves and their families. By educating children, we can raise up a generation of leaders who can improve their own societies and enrich the lives of those around them!
